Instructor: Dragonfly Designs’ programs seek to foster a sense of individuality and encourage children to think “outside the box.” We work to provide a sense of accomplishment, consciousness, and individuality that empowers children to effect positive change within themselves and their communities through art-based education.

JUSTRIGHT: FUN & BRAVE WRITING CLASS | AUGUST 2-6

Days & Time: M-F, 9-11 a.m.; Cost: $475
Grades: Rising 1-3
Class Size: 5 min/ 7 max

One of the most exciting parts of becoming a writer is getting to create a whole book from start to finish!  In our Fun and Brave Writing Classes, your child will be part of a shared book-making experience guided by an experienced writing teacher. They'll experience each stage of the writing process as the group works together to make a digital book. Depending on the grade there will be word work fun and learning along the way as children work with sounds, letters, and words. For older students, our skilled writing teachings will immerse children in the power of word choice. Some children get so inspired to write that they start making their own books after the camp sessions!

Instructor: Just Right Reader uniquely provides an end-to-end solution for accelerating reading and writing, with personalized instruction no other organizations offer. Our holistic program grows with students as they develop literacy skills, and allows students to develop deep connections with their individual teachers and as a result develop a deep connection with reading. Just Right books are only sold to teachers and schools, so parents can’t access them anywhere else. Our teachers are deeply invested every minute they’re with our students and make every session incredibly fun! We disrupt the education space by taking the mystery out of teaching your child how to read and write.
