Mira Hui Cheung

At Burke's, Mira serves on the Equity and Inclusion and Advancement Committees. 

Mira Hui Cheung is a native San Franciscan and a proud Burke’s alumna (class of 1995). After graduating from University High School and UCLA, she received her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Lurie Children’s/Northwestern University, where she also served as chief resident. Returning to San Francisco was always the plan and upon return in 2014 she joined the Permanente Medical Group. She has served as chief of pediatrics at Kaiser South San Francisco since 2022. 
 
In her free time, Mira enjoys spending time with her husband Ka Wai, son Andrew, and daughter Nora (Burke’s class of 2032).
