Getting to Campus

The Burke's campus is easily accessible via public transportation. Many students take the MUNI bus lines 1 California or 38/38R Geary to stops within one to two blocks of the school.

We also partner with First Student to provide three morning bus routes and one afternoon route that students can ride on any school day during the year, for a fixed annual fee.

Rider families have access to the FirstView app, which offers real-time bus tracking via GPS, arrival alerts and notifications, and easy access to customer support.

  • Morning Marin: $3,490
  • Morning San Francisco Northside: $2,990
  • Morning Noe Valley Southwest: $2,990
  • Afternoon Noe Valley Southwest: $1,300

Payment options available are one lump-sum payment or two 50/50 installment payments. The deadline to cancel and avoid the fixed annual fee is November 30, 2026.

Transportation Routes

Families receiving a Collaborative Tuition award are offered pro-rated fees for the transportation program.

Our goal is to enhance and support our geographic diversity, make our school more accessible for families, and move forward to make Burke’s more inclusive to our whole school community, wherever its members may live.

Burke's mission is to educate, encourage and empower girls. Our school combines academic excellence with an appreciation for childhood so that students thrive as learners, develop a strong sense of self, contribute to community, and fulfill their potential, now and throughout life.
