Liz Meyerdirk

At Burke's, Liz serves on the Head Evaluation, Equity and Inclusion,  and Governance Committees.

Hailing from the Midwest, where community, football, and potato casseroles reign supreme, Liz grew up in Ann Arbor, where her immigrant Taiwanese parents instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love for learning. Liz is a founder, executive, and board director with extensive experience building and scaling consumer, technology, and marketplace businesses. She is currently the Founder and CEO of Babs AI, an Accel-backed consumer AI company focused on building tools for modern households and helping families better orchestrate their daily lives.

Previously, Liz served as an Operating Partner and Advisor at Bain Capital's Tech Opportunities fund and as an independent board director of Seven & i Holdings, the $40 billion publicly traded parent company of 7-Eleven. She also served as CEO of The Pill Club, where she led a multi-year operational turnaround and the successful restructuring and sale of the business.

Earlier in her career, Liz was an executive at Uber and a co-founder of Uber Eats, where she helped conceive, launch, and scale the business into a global platform operating across more than 6,000 cities, 43 countries, and $50 billion in gross merchandise value. Prior to Uber, Liz was on the management team at viagogo/StubHub, and began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, followed by venture capital investing at TCV.

Liz currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Little School. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and three adorable children. No stranger to recipe books and with a penchant for a good pun, she is often found in the kitchen creating something delicious or hiking outdoors with her family.
