Educators from Around the Bay (& the World) Visit Campus

The Makery team hosted a meetup of the Bay Area Maker Educators on Thursday, February 12, bringing teachers from around the region into the Burke's Makery to tinker and experiment with a variety of materials just like students do.
It was just one of several recent occasions where educators traveled to Burke's to check out what's happening in our classrooms. Others included:
  • A team of 10 from Four Seasons Art Education in Taipei, Taiwan;
  • Five from 'Iolani School in Hawaii;
  • Four from the Physical Education and Sports Teacher Academy in Singapore.
The guests all toured classrooms and learned more about a Burke's education. (Thanks to Mike Matthews for the photo!)
