Gil Barrett

At Burke's, Gil serves on the Advancement and Equity & Inclusion Committees.

Gil Barrett is Managing Director at BMO Family Office, an integrated wealth management provider that serves ultra-affluent families and family offices across their tax, estate, investment, philanthropic, risk and family capital needs. He works extensively with company founders making strategic and financial exits while transitioning from business owners to investors. Gil brings over 25 years of experience working with executives, entrepreneurs, endowments, foundations, institutional clients and multi-generational families with BNY Mellon, Fisher Investments Institutional, Charles Schwab, and Montgomery Securities. Gil grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where he attended Worcester Preparatory School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia. His philanthropic endeavors include having served as a Legacy Council Advisor for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation and supporting local environmental non-profit organizations San Francisco Baykeeper and the Surfrider Foundation.
