Counseling Center

At Burke's, counseling services are offered for a limited number of sessions and include crisis intervention, individual counseling, group counseling, and parent consultation.
Appointments are available by student, faculty or parent referral, or on a drop-in basis. Girls, parents, and teachers are encouraged to seek support when concerns arise.

Counselors are also available to provide referrals for therapists and clinicians outside of school.

For grades K-4, Jessica Nenner, LCSW: jessica.nenner@burkes.org or at ext. 211.
For grades 5-8, Alkmini Hormovas, LMFT: alkmini.hormovas@burkes.org or ext. 248.

In addition to one-on-one counseling services, classroom-based programs, and groups take place throughout the year at all grade levels. These courses and groups cover a broad range of topics related to social-emotional health.
